چکیده
Cotton fibers can be used to produce nonwovens suitable for numerous single use applications including hygiene, wipes, and medical products among others. comprises a relatively small amount of total raw materials in production compared the synthetic polyester polypropylene, but cotton continues increase due demand disposable containing natural, sustainable, biodegradable materials. However, relationship between fiber classification measurements nonwoven fabric physical functional properties are not well characterized. A better understanding effects on will facilitate selection specific end-use applications. In this study, with broad distributions quality from 10 recombinant inbred lines multi parent advanced generation intercross multiparent population were harvested processed their greige state into hydroentangled fabrics two distinct basis weights. Tensile testing lightweight indicated length tensile strength at break positively correlated strength, whereas micronaire (air permeability bundle) was negatively indicating finer contributed increased strength. Increased heavyweight mainly higher uniformity index. These results suggest that could selectively sourced based establishes alternative market opportunities classified as inferior subject discount pricing woven textile market.

Tensile and Flexural Properties of Cement Composites Reinforced with Flax Nonwoven Fabrics
The aim of this study is to develop a process to produce high-performance cement-based composites reinforced with flax nonwoven fabrics, analyzing the influence of the fabric structure-thickness and entanglement-on mechanical behavior under flexural and tensile loadings. For this purpose, composite with flax nonwoven fabrics with different thicknesses were first prepared and their cement infilt...

Quantifying the Frictional Forces between Skin and Nonwoven Fabrics
When a compliant sheet of material is dragged over a curved surface of a body, the frictional forces generated can be many times greater than they would be for a planar interface. This phenomenon is known to contribute to the abrasion damage to skin often suffered by wearers of incontinence pads and bed/chairbound people susceptible to pressure sores. Experiments that attempt to quantify these ...

متن کاملFiltration behaviour of woven and nonwoven fabrics
The filtration behaviour of woven and nonwoven fabrics at different air flow rate, dust feed rate, dust loading, time intervals and dust particles has been studied. It is observed that the pressure drop increases with the increase in airflow rate for both the woven and nonwoven filters. In general, the pressure drop in case of woven filter is found to be higher than that in case of nonwoven fil...
